Leader's Surgery
The Leader's Surgery will take place in Room 5 in Merton Link on Friday mornings beginning 2nd July, from 10-12am. There will be no Leader's Surgery during August and public holidays.
Appointments can be made by telephone 020 8545 3365 during working hours.

Cabinet Member for Strategic Resources and Performance
Danny Connellan
Leading on the budget, resourcing and administrative issues. Responsible for finance, IT, legal, legal, land, transport services and member support and the performance of the Council in meeting excellence targets.

Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion and Economic Development
Stephen Alambritis
Leading on "Equalities Merton". Responsible for policy lead on equalities and social inclusion in service delivery, community leadership on equalities and social inclusion, corporate equality plan and responding to equalities legislation, human resources, economic development, business partnerships, tourism, the arts (including strategies for music and art) and the youth service.

Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration
Russell Makin
Leading on neighbourhood renewal, planning strategy and policy including design briefs and acting as the Council`s design champion, transport projects, liaison with transport providers and transport planning.

Cabinet Member for Housing
Steve Austin
Responsible for management of housing stock, homelessness, housing programme, affordable housing and `Key Worker` housing.

Cabinet Member for Environmental Quality
Linda Kirby
Leading on "Safe, Clean and Green Merton": improvements in the quality of the environment in our streets, parks and open spaces. Responsible for street cleaning, environmental enforcement including graffiti, fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, refuse and recycling, environmental health, trading standards, parks and open spaces, community safety/policing issues and youth justice.

Cabinet Member for Education and Lifelong Learning
David Chung
Leading on "Education Merton". Responsible for primary education, secondary education, joint work on future childrens` services, post – 16 education, lifelong learning, pre-school childcare and schools re-organisation.

Cabinet member for Customer Services
Mark Allison
Leading on customer services including Merton link, access and development, community welfare services, communications, PR and Marketing and e-government.

Cabinet Member for Community Services and Community Engagement
Mickey Spacey
Responsible for sport including strategy facilities, liesure centres and relations with sports clubs and organisation, libraries, community engagement and decision making in respect of street management and strategic oversight of the Council`s relations with the public through the various forums and consultative mechanisms.

Cabinet Member for Care Services
Andy Coles
Leading on "Caring Merton" Responsible for all social services including both Adult and Children`s Services, joint work on future childrens` services and relations with the NHS, health promotion. Lead on relations with voluntary sector.
