Your local Councillors for Figges Marsh are:

Agatha Akyigyina

As a local resident and mum Agatha (right) likes nothing more than rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck in to help Mitcham’s children. Alongside volunteering for numerous local charities she regularly helps out in the mother and toddler’s group at St Mark’s Family Centre. And, she can often be seen in our schools, encouraging the next generation to learn and succeed.

Geraldine Stanford

Living in Mitcham for over 40 years, Geraldine (centre) knows our community like the back of her hand. She has played a big part in many campaigns to improve the local area but thinks that it’s the little things that have made the most difference - like helping a family with their housing, tackling anti-social behaviour or getting a garden cleaned up.

Peter Walker

Tackling the problem of unwanted drinking and anti-social behaviour in Mitcham Fair Green and Figges Marsh has been a priority for Peter. With other Labour Councillors, he helped organise a successful petition of local residents, getting the council to introduce a Controlled Drinking Zone. Police now have the powers they need to deal with this blight and make things nicer for all.
