Trainee Organiser, Mitcham and Morden Labour Party
Salary: £19,100 (rising to £19,600 after six months). Fixed-term contract for one year

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Trainee Organiser and community campaigner to work with our MP, Labour councillors, and the Constituency Labour Party in Mitcham and Morden, and to lead campaigning activity across the constituency.

The successful candidate will receive training in all aspects of election planning, volunteer recruitment and campaign management. Previous Mitcham and Morden campaigners have gone on to become MPs and regional and national Labour party officers.

Mitcham and Morden Labour Party appoint for potential not attainment so no formal qualifications are required. However, the successful candidate will need to show a commitment to the Labour Party, e.g., that they have been canvassing before and have enjoyed the experience.

We are looking for an outgoing and welcoming individual who is prepared to work hard and shares our values of making Mitcham and Morden a strong inclusive community. The successful candidate will be trained to oversee local campaigning activity across the constituency working with local activists, and the local MP and councillors in promoting the Labour Party.
