Bunding on Moreton Green prevents incursions

Unfortunately there was a recent illegal incursion of motorised vehicles on Moreton Green. Your local councillors, Peter and Stephen, worked closely with Merton council officers and the local police. Fortunately, this work resulted in the illegal incursion leaving the Green in record time, within two days.

As a result of this experience, your councillors have brought forward plans by Merton council to create an earth bund around Moreton Green in addition to swing barriers and bollards to secure the green’s perimeter against any further unauthorised illegal motorised incursions.

We hope that this will help to create a safer space on Moreton Green.
