Councillors successfully oppose poorly designed planning application

Residents of Love Lane and Church Road asked for our help in opposing a poorly designed planning application that would have encroached on several homes and disregarded the character of the Conservation Area.

With no resident consultation and serious concerns raised, we arranged a site visit with Planning Officers and a public meeting with the developer. Thanks to the strong voices of the community and the thoughtful engagement of Council officers, the application was decisively refused.

A great result for local residents and for preserving the heritage of our neighbourhood.
