Help us stop three new towers at Britannia Point
Colliers Wood
Last year, Merton Labour Council overwhelmingly rejected proposal for two new towers at the site immediately south of Britannia Point, due to 21 serious issues identified by Planning Officers at the Council.
The developers, Criterion, have now brought proposals for three towers, but lower than 26 storeys in a bid to get around regulations. We are totally opposed to Criterion’s new proposals.
Criterion still owe Merton Council just shy of £3 million, which is the cost of the scaffolding that the council was forced to erect around their current tower to keep residents safe after one of the glass panes fell from the building and smashed on the pavement below.
We won this campaign last time in large part thanks to the help of people who raised their voices and joined us in calling out this terrible proposal, and we are asking for your help once again. If you would like to sign our petition, please follow this link.
